Submissions to the Journal

Categories of Submissions:

1. Articles (5000-12000 words).

2. Essays (3000-5000 words).

3. Case Notes, Legislative Comments, Book/Article Reviews (2000-5000 words).

The above limits are exclusive of footnotes. Substantive footnoting is allowed.

 

Guidelines:

  1. Submissions must be submitted using this form. (Please note that the editorial board is currently undergoing reconstitution so we would not be reviewing articles for the month of August.)

  2. Submissions should be compulsorily on topics falling within technology law and its related areas.

  3. An abstract (not more than 250 words) must be submitted, concurrently with the manuscript.

  4. Submissions must be in English only.

  5. Co-authorship (up to a maximum of 3 authors) is permitted.

  6. The body of the paper shall be in Times New Roman, font size 12, 1.5 line spacing. Footnotes should be in Times New Roman, size 10 single line spacing.

  7. Kindly follow the OSCOLA (4th edition) style of citation.

  8. All submissions must be original, unpublished and not under consideration by any other journal/forum.

  9. Please send in your submissions in MS/Open Word (*.doc OR *.docx)

  10. IJLT shall get back with reviews in 4-6 weeks.

Note:

  • IJLT is a UGC-CARE (University Grant Commission - Consortium for Academic and Research Ethics) indexed Journal.

  • IJLT does not charge any monetary fees to authors at any stage.

  • IJLT aims to publish novel and analytical scholarship to contribute to the global literature on technology law.  Descriptive, non-novel submissions are thus discouraged.

  • The Editorial Board may take upto 5 weeks to respond to a submission with a preliminary review.
